Drop it like it’s hot cos’ we just dropped PORK into our menu

You asked and we delivered! We wanted to give you even more variety with our meals so we are SO excited to be introducing a new protein into our menu – PORK!

We’ve had beef, chicken and vegan options for quite some time but understand that sticking to a meal plan can be challenging if it starts to seem too repetitive. We really want you to stay committed and smash your goals, which is why we’ve brought in pork to spice up the menu with more range than ever before.

And pork is going off with a bang because we’ve just dropped THREE new tasty pork meals to the menu – Naked Pork Burrito, Spanish Style Pork and Slow Braised Pork. These dishes have been carefully created with tender, mouth-watering, premium lean pork that tastes so good it will have you wondering how the meals can still hit all the right macros. But don’t stress, they definitely do because we’ve worked out the ratio for eating right.

So why pork?

Pork can be a little misunderstood at times – some people are unsure if it is a macro-friendly option to include regularly in their diets. Well if you are one of those people, we’ve got good news – pork is actually an excellent addition to a healthy meal plan.

And here are some reasons why:

Pork is rich in flavour

Pork has a distinct taste like no other that can take a meal to the next level. Essentially, it tastes pretty damn good and keeps you satisfied. Need we say more?

Pork is high in protein

In 100 grams of ground, cooked pork there is 25 grams of high-quality protein. And we all know that protein is important for so many body functions including satiety (staying full) and muscle growth and maintenance (e.g. building those gains) 😉

Pork is rich in many vitamins and minerals

There’s plenty of the good stuff in pork, which benefits your body in many ways. Compared to other red meats, pork is rich in thiamine which is one of the B-vitamins and plays an essential role in various body functions. Pork also contains selenium, zinc (for a healthy brain and immune system), vitamin B12 (for blood formation and brain function), vitamin B6 (formation of red blood cells), niacin (for growth and metabolism), phosphorus and iron.

That’s a whole lotta goodness! To sum up, this means pork will help you grow and maintain muscle mass, improve physical performance and simply make you feel good. Plus, it tastes delicious and keeps your eating plan diverse and exciting – that’s a win in our books.
