Feel Like You’re Not Making Progress?

Ever feel like you’re not making any progress? That your goals seem so far from reach?

Those in the industry call it “plateauing” but I like to think of it as ‘hitting a wall.’

Whether it is in your career or relationship or even your fitness goals, researchers have warned that, despite its popularity, it can be highly dangerous and unhealthy.

Admittedly, our goals can be tough to accomplish. At times it can be easier to make excuses; “if only I could,” “I should be so lucky,” “it wasn’t meant to be.”

It’s time we took it upon ourselves to climb over the wall and continue progressing towards our goals.

I am a big believer in the phrase, ‘A healthy body fuels a healthy mind.” Both your mental and physical wellbeing complement each other to help you in all facets of your life.

It all comes down to confidence, that feeling of being happy in your own skin and the satisfaction that comes with reaching your goals. Sometimes we just have to remind ourselves that the end product will make all the hard work worth it.

If it all seems like too much, try breaking your goal down into manageable pieces; reward yourself when you push yourself harder at the gym, or when you accomplish a task at work. It’s the little victories that help you towards your end product.

You don’t need to be rich, and you certainly don’t need any more excuses, you just need the determination and the hunger to better your life and health. Start with your body and it will go a long way in bettering your mental state, sexual function, energy and time.

Let 2014 be the year of change. The year we continue to climb from our plateau and over whatever walls lay in our path to progress.
